Your heart data is already on your iPhone, inside Apple Health. Heart Data Exporter reads it and writes the export locally, so there is no server in the loop — it works on a plane, in a clinic basement, anywhere. Frequently asked questions
Do I need an Apple Watch?
Not strictly, but most heart data in Apple Health is recorded by an Apple Watch. Heart Data Exporter exports whatever heart data is already in Apple Health on your iPhone, regardless of what recorded it.
Does the app change my Apple Health data?
No. Access is read-only. Heart Data Exporter can read your data to export it, but it can never write to, edit, or delete anything in Apple Health.
Where do exported files go?
Wherever you send them. The export is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet, so you can save it to Files, AirDrop it, email it, or open it in another app.
