The app
Heart Data Exporter runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no account, no cloud, no analytics, and no tracking. It does not contain advertising SDKs or third-party trackers, and it makes no network calls to move your health data anywhere.
- Read-only access to Apple Health. With your permission, the app reads the heart data types you allow. It cannot write to, edit, or delete anything in Apple Health.
- On-device processing. Reading, computing statistics, and generating exports and reports all happen locally on your iPhone.
- You control sharing. An exported file only leaves your device if you explicitly save or share it using the standard iOS share sheet. Until then, it stays on the phone.
- No collection. The app does not collect, transmit, or store your health data on any server, because there is no server.
What the app does not do
Heart Data Exporter is a data-ownership tool, not a medical device. It reports objective facts — counts, averages, minimums, maximums, standard deviation, and mathematical trends — and passes through Apple’s own ECG classifications verbatim. It does not diagnose, assess whether a value is good or bad, detect conditions, predict disease, produce health scores, or offer medical advice. Any interpretation of your data is between you and the professionals or tools you choose. It is not a substitute for professional medical care.
This website
This marketing website is separate from the app. It uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages and links are useful — but only after you consent. On your first visit a banner asks permission; until you choose Allow, no analytics script loads, no cookies are set, and no data is sent. If you choose Decline, analytics never runs. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it any time by clearing your browser storage for this site (which brings the banner back).
When enabled, GA4 collects standard, aggregate website usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and clicks on links such as the App Store button or sample downloads — with IP anonymization on. It is used only to improve the site. The website never receives or processes any of your Apple Health data; that data never leaves your device and has no connection to this site.
Downloadable sample files on this site contain synthetic example data only, not anyone’s real health information.
